How to import an avi-file?

I want to import an avi-file. I used the command line:

mov = aviread(filename)

as suggested in the Matlab documentation. However, I obtain the error message:

??? mov = aviread(125.avi) | Error: Unexpected MATLAB expression.

So I wounder if someone could tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to correct this procedure.

Yes, the problem was the missing ''.

I wrote as you advised and got no more error.

My following question is: How do I extract all images of this video and save them as bmp-file?
