if you r just trying to solve this expression then try using log to solve it.. n the "code" that you have mentioned in your query is missing..!!!

Sadly, you don't explain what is your problem either. Seems like you got that from your professor.

But you have not said what it is that you need here. Explain it clearly, else we must guess as to the question.
Personally, I think the best answer is to form working groups with your fellow students. This was my solution for a few classes (in those dark ages when I was actually taking classes) where the teacher did as you describe. We sat down after class and went over the homework together to understand what was required. We also discussed our notes from class, so that if someone missed some point in the class, another student was often able to fill in.
If I had to make a wild guess, it looks as if you need some sort of approximation to exp(x) - x.

If you have not understood the question asked by your professor, the best thing to do is ask him for clarification.
When doing so (and when asking questions on the answer forum) make sure you write sentences that make sense. Grammar is an essential part of the language that helps to carry meaning to words. What you've written above is barely understandable.

A good point is that any professor should be willing to help a student of theirs that shows an interest in learning. So ask questions of your professor. This is where the problem arises, so get clarification there.
