i also changed the position of inv, but then also its not working

Assuming all of your rxx variables are scalars:

This is a 4x4 matrix:

[r00 r11 r10 r12; r11 r00 r01 r01;... % 1st and 2nd rows
 r10 r01 r00 r02; r12 r01 r02 r00]    % 3rd and 4th rows

This is a 1 x 4 vector:

[r01 r10 r11 r11]

So you are doing (4 x 4) * (1 x 4), hence the error. If you want the vector to be a 4 x 1 column instead of a row, build it with semi-colons instead. E.g.,

[r01;r10;r11;r11]
