got new laptop; can't access matlab from it

I bought a new laptop and the store said they tried to 'transfer' all data from old to new laptop but I cannot seem to access the Matlab program I bought earlier this year. Is there some way you can help me install a replacement program? ( I still seem to have the saved .m programs I created but not the Matlab software itself). Thanks very much in advance. You will probably need to deactivate against the old system to activate on the new system.
