Tooltips text is missing

Hy i use a simple tooltips function and the text doesnt't apear.... instead in the right corner of the runed program is a little box like a push botton that does nothing...sorry if i ask silly questions but i'm new at this

Please post the code, which reproduces the problem. Most likely the problem appears in what you call "use a simple tooltips function", so show the details.

uicontrol('tooltip','This is a pushbutton') or set(uicontrol,'tooltipString','name') ....for both codes i get the little box in the right corner that i dont add in the design of the gui
