i had installed matlab version r2013a. i tried using simulink block embedded simulink function. it showed the error message as follows: "Unable to locate a C-compiler required by Stateflow and MATLAB Function blocks. Use 'mex -setup' to select a supported C-compiler."
so i typed the command mex - setup and the following appeared: "No supported SDK or compiler was found on this computer. For a list of supported compilers, see http://www.mathworks.com/support/compilers/R2013a/win64.html"
i used the link below and downloaded microsoft windows sdk 7.1 and installed it. but still i got this message.
then i downloaded visual studio and installed it. but still i get this message on typng mex setup. is it required to first uninstall sdk7.1 before installing visual studio?
please address this question as soon as possible. thanks in advance.
