What is MathWorks's preferred way to receive product feedback?

2 views (last 30 days)
Looking at the MathWorks website, I don't see a clear indication regarding how the company prefers to receive product feeback. I see links to submit a bug report, but a suggestion on how to improve workflow isn't really a bug. There are customer support links to create a service request, but a suggestion regarding how a product could be better is not really a request for Mathworks to help troubleshoot a problem. There is the community forum where one can submit a question such as this one, but a product improvement suggestion isn't really a question.
What communication channel works best for this kind of information to be efficiently routed inside MathWorks to the decision-makers who can most benefit from understanding customer needs and translate that information into product features that satisfy them?

You can Create Service Request and select the Technical Support option, which also includes suggestions: https://www.mathworks.com/support/contact_us.html?s_tid=hc_trail

I agree with Bora. If you submit a suggestion to Technical Support they can enter it into the enhancement database. It's also possible there's a way you're not aware of to do what you're suggest as your enhancement request, in which case Support can tell you about that feature or functionality.
