Can I use both pu and SI machines in SimPowerSystems
Show older comments
I am doing a project and I have data of one machine in pu and another data for SI unit. I would like to know that I can use these machines connect together (for example, a generator in pu connects with an induction motor in SI).
Thank you very much

You should be able to, so long as your parameters and inputs are consistent for each block. For example, you can supply a power of 1 in the pu machine and a power of 20e6 (Watts) in the SI machine. Same with the dialog parameters (resistances, initial speed, etc.).
Regardless of the blocks used, the currents and voltages in the "a,b,c" terminals should always be in SI units.
