I receive an error stating "354 error The MATLAB computer license transfer count has been exceeded, with no more remaining.

I am a user with a student license. In the process of transferring my license to a new laptop and testing it, I believe I activated and deactivated it about two times. Due to regulations, I now receive a message saying I can no longer activate it, with an error code 354( The MATLAB computer license transfer count has been exceeded, with no more remaining).

I'm wondering if renewing my license could solve this problem? I am seeking advice on possible solutions to this issue.
