How to generate synthetic run-to-failure data in Simulink?

I am looking for methods to generate run-to-failure data using Simulink. I am working on RUL prediction for a machine and for that I need to generate run-to-failure data using Digital Twin. I have the Digital Twin working. I have designed some faults and injected it. But for a specific component or a part, how to generate and record data until the component fails.
More specifically, how to make a component fail in the Simulink enviroment.

You can find a few examples where fault data are generated in Simulink products.
