Can I know how to correctly interface a Simscape Electrical generator with a specialized power sistem three level rectifier in Simulink ?
Thank you

This can be done using Controlled Voltage/Current sources and sensors. However, it is better to use only one technology because the solver may run into difficulties when we mix the two technologies. The Specialized Power Systems and Simscape have different equations formulation.

Hi @Sabin ,
So if I may add a follow on question to this.
In the spirit of your answer what should one do for basic passive components such as reistors and switches like a DPDT or 3 pole 3 position switch etc...? The specialized power systems blocks seem to be short on such components. What is best practice?
It is a bit strange. For example a Multi Winding Transformer is very typical in "Power Suplies" (toroid transformer for example) yet I do not see such a component or block in the Foundations Electrical but it is in Specialized Power System but it becomes combursome to use it. The non linear reistor for example seems to be very picky about where it can be used and placed in a block dirgram circuit even though such may match a realistic schematic etc... and even when just a basic linear resistor model would suffice.
Thanks,
Wess
