Is it possible to generate a standalone matlab function for support vector machine (SVM) classification methods in MATLAB? That is after you have train SVM is it possible to store the result and run it on a new set of data for example a new testing datasets similar to what neural network is able to do in MALTAB?
Thank you :)

Yes it is. Learn how to write functions. http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/8026-best-way-s-to-master-matlab
To "store the result" you can use the save() function. For reading in "a new testing datasets", there are lots and lots of functions like xlsread, importdata, dlmread, csvread, fread, textscan, readtable, fscanf, load, etc.
