ok thanks thomas...but i have tried the program and it work but the code must be changes every time i need to process other plate. Can you suggest on how to make this process become automatics?

Do you have a foldor of images of cars with license plates? Automatically running the code could be done fairly easily! Do you know the basics of matlab?

If this is your thesis then I strongly suggest you to learn the basics first, code the program yourself and use this forum to post issues you run into! give it a shot
