How can you implament reverse current protection in a circuit breaker or relay in Simulink?

I'm trying to impalment a simulation of a circuit breaker using Simscape Electrical components. How can I detect reverse current in this situation? I cannot use diodes if they will stop the negative signal that it part of the power flowing through the circuit.
I cannot share my current file.

Hello @Shane,
I have few questions:
  • What is the nature of current flowing through circuit breaker ? Is it AC current or DC current ?
  • If it is AC current, what do you mean by "reverse current" ? Because, AC current changes its polarity in each cycle. Are you talking about the direction of flow of active power? (As an example, active power flowing from bus1 to bus2) OR, are you talking about the phase of current with respect to the bus voltage ?
