I want to plot the following coordinates in a rose plot, so I get something that looks like a compass, with a representation for the element at the respective direction. I have tried different bins, but did not get the right result.
a= [30,
180,
40,
260,
310,
]
rose(a,360)

rose theta input is expressed in radians (most of trig-related matlab functions are in radians).
You can try this:
rose(a.*(pi/180),360)
