Hi! :)
I just uninstalled/deactivted Matlab on my old computer and installed it on my new computer. Done it twice and I getting the same error when opening the software: see the picture. I have used the same username as my windows user name: muazma ali then I dont understand why I am getting this error message.
Thanks

This MATLAB License Manager Error -9 occurs when the username in your license file does not match your current Windows username. To fix it, run MATLAB’s activation tool (activate_matlab.exe in the MATLAB bin\win64 folder), log in with your MathWorks account, and reactivate using the correct license. Alternatively, open the .lic file in C:\Users\<yourname>\AppData\Roaming\MathWorks\MATLAB\R2018b_licenses with Notepad, find the USER entry, and replace it with your current Windows username (check with the whoami command), then save and restart MATLAB.

Hi!

Is it allowed to have space in the name: On my windows my name is muazma ali, can I write in this way as the username for Matlab?
