Error with IDE link adapter between CCS 3.3 and Matlab Simulink 64-bit

2 views (last 30 days)
I have exactly the same problem with Lukas ( http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/answers/21048-problem-connecting-ccs-v3-3-and-simulink). I have an F28335 ezDSP processor, 64-bit Matlab and CCS 3.3. Whether I am using the F28335 Simulator or actual Target CSSBOARDINFO results to: You cannot invoke CCSBOARDINFO on a 64-Bit Microsoft® Windows® platform. The IDE Link adaptor for use with Texas Instruments™ Code Composer Studio™ is not supported on this platform. Refer to the IDE Link System Requirements for platforms supported by this adaptor.
Any suggestions? Is there another IDE link adaptor that I can use with CCS 3.3 that can work under windows 64-bit?
Thanks

Have you tried installing 32-bit MATLAB and trying it with that? It appears that the TI adaptor is not supported in 64-bit MATLAB - probably because there is no 64-bit version of CCS?

First of all, thanks for the reply.Yes, I tried installing the 32-bit version. When I select "build", CCS appears as an icon on the taskbar and after 2 secs it disappears with no code uploaded to the target! Is there any reason why CCS cannot work with the 64-bit version of MATLAB in the first place?
