how to customize caxis in pcolor worldmap?

hey, can anybody help me: i´ve created 2 pcolor worldmaps with longitude and latitude and values for 2 points of time. due to their varying values in these worldmaps i´d like to customize the ticks of the caxis (nonlinear and lonlogarithmic). does anyone know how to solve that problem? how to write that code?
