How to solve a system of two first-order non linear hyperbolic PDEs?

Hi all,

Could you suggest a function to solve the following system for u(x,t) and v(x,t)?a,b,d,c are constant. Any help is more than appreciated.

I'm not sure that I have any ideas, but can you also tell us the boundary conditions? For example, what is the range of x values, and are you given u( x,0) and v( x,0) and want to solve for positive t?
