Hello, We saw that for some projects it takes a lot the analysis and more time the results generation. For example we have a project for which the analysis takes roughly 17 minutes and the results generation 34 minutes(it is true that it has many Misra violations). However it look like a lot of time. Question: when it comes to the characteristics of a computer running Polyspace what is more important: CPU power, nr. of CPU, RAM size, fast accessible HDD? We need to know this in order to customize as good as possible the computer we want to use for running the polyspace analysis.

Hi Daniel !
A typical recommandation is a good compromise between the speed and the memory : 4 cores, 16Gb of Ram, and a fast hard disk (SSD) for the working folders (the results and the temp folders).
The report can indeed takes time to be generated when there are lots of violations.
Choosing Word (docx) for the output format is faster than pdf. HTML is even faster than Word, but some people don't like reports in HTML.
Regards,
Alex
