Add System Objects to Your Simulink Model
Show older comments
I have been working my way through the dsp toolbox getting started document. When I get to the end, I reach the section, "Add System Objects to Your Simulink Model". Did I miss something ? How am I supposed to do this ? Can anybody go into verbose detail on what they are trying get you to do here ?

System Objects are a some Object Oriented Programming routines that have been designed to execute efficiently on a target system, compiling down to just the facilities of them that you actually use, and optimized to reduce memory transfer.
Using System Objects is optional, but it is recommended that at some point you learn how to use them for efficiency. You can probably postpone learning about them.
