design of state machine in simulink and generation of hdl code for it

If you do not have a license for hdlcoder then you are going to find it difficult to follow the documentation steps.

We cannot post the documentation here. The documentation is copyrighted and Mathworks has chosen to permit only people with licenses to access it.
