We are working on Text extraction from images. We require some pre-requisite for doing this so! So, please help!

Please take a look at the Automatically Detect and Recognize Text in Natural Images example in the Computer Vision System Toolbox.

Yes, there is an example in the computer vision system toolbox online documentation for finding text in natural scenery.
