Conditions at makesymbolspec for Mapshow

I created the following rule in order to mapshow with conditions.

for linkid=1:length(getlinkid)
    ruleid=getlinkid(linkid)

roadColors = ...
makesymbolspec('Line',{'Id',ruleid(linkid),'Color','r'},...
                      {'Default','Color','g'});

The length is 4 but when I run it, the loop run until the 2nd row and then I got this error

"Index exceeds matrix dimensions.
 Error in traffic_scen>popupmenu3_Callback (line 661)
  roadColors = ..."

What is my wrong?
