Processing sequences of images with videoFileReader matlab

Is it possible to read a sequence of images which change over time with VideoFileReader. And further use them with vision.foregroundDetector and Vision.blonAnalyser? I am using Matlab2014a and Working on Mac. Any help will be appreciated.
