What Feature should i Extract and what kind of method for pattern recognition?

Sir if i have a image like.

may i ask what feature should i get from the pattern in the image? i want do feature extraction for pattern recognition. and could you suggest me what is the suitable pattern recognition method for this case?

currently the feature i get is

• form vector
• roundness
• aspect ratio
• spherecity

You might also get the Euler number, or the number of islands in the feature. You could also get area, perimeter, circularity, major axis length, Max Feret diameter (see attached demo), etc. Just measure what you need to measure and nothing more. Don't measure tons of things for no reason - it's just a waste of time.
