Seeking advice on IGES file formatting

Hello, I asked a question before but I thought I would re-post it.

Right now I am trying to export MATLAB geometry into a IGES format, but what I am trying to do is a bit different. I have a binary tree structure, and I would like to an IGES format.

How I imagine this would work involves generated cylinders around two target points, with a pre-defined radius. Is it possible to take that information from MATLAB,and generate the geometry progamatically?
