RAYLEIGH FADING : How to add rayleigh fading to a transmitted modulated bitstream in matlab?

Example: a=[1 0 1 1 1]; then modulating; then a=awgn(a,snr) adds awgn noise to the transmitted bitstream as channel noise. Similarly how to add rayleigh fading?
