Freezing of lines in Editor for MATLAB R2013A with El-Capitan

Since I have installed El-Capitan, the lines in my MATLAB R2013A Editor windows freeze every time I scroll up and down. It is quite a hassle to navigate through code to troubleshoot. Is anybody else encountering this problem?
