i want to divide a area into n number of parts , and how to get their centre points.

ashu - how do you expect to break down the area into n parts? Should each part have the same area? Can the parts be side-by-side or does one follow the other?

yes, but if the area is of irregular shape there may be some smaller parts also.

For any rectangular area (whether or not it is aligned with the X and Y axes), the center point is at the average of the first and last X value, and average of first and last Y value.
