what is the inverse function of bbox2points?

The bbox2points converts the input rectangle, specified as [x y width height] into a list of four [x y] corner points. I want to convert a list of 4 points to a rectangle. How can I do so? Is there a function?

No built in function. bbox2points () is not a built-in function either. You could, of course, write a function to do that in about 5 lines of code (minimum).
