Table in matlab

I usually use uitable to do tables, but it doesnt satisfy me. I should get to this result:
N M F MAge SD
Healthy 23 11 12 55 2.5
MyoInfarct 23 17 6 54 6.3
P Yes
Or kinda similar. N, M, F are fixed data, Mage and SD are unknown and calculated eachm time, P should be Yes or No but 1 and 0 works fine as well. The problem is that first of all i'm not able to leave blank spaces in the P-row without using NaN,but this is not the problem,the real problem is this:

You will probably have to convert all of your entries to strings and store the strings in the uitable cells.
There is no provision otherwise for blank entries, and there is no provision for a row to have column entries that are not the same type as the entries above.

this is what I do, it also allows better formatting
