Axes Children spilling outside of axes border

17 views (last 30 days)
Copying X number of axes from X number of figures into a single figure using the copyobj function, then adding children to the "main" axes that has been copied over to the new figure. The "main" axes limits are extremely large and the user will see a zoomed in and possibly rotated "snapshot" of part of this axes dependant on a number of things. Copyobj brings over the camera properties just fine, but the axes children objects (lines, patches, ect...) are "spilling" out of the copied over "main" axes boundaries which are set by position. The new figure position is set such to encompass the min left and bottom and the max width and height of all the other figures, so therefore the "main" axes position and camera properties end up being the same and looking correct. Again, the problem is the axes children once copied over are spilling outside of the axes boundaries. Please help.
