how to set a exp function to some data on x and y axis? and find that exp function exactly.

Hi there

I have some data in MATLAB and I want to set a exp function to them and find that function exactly. anybody to help me in this?

curve fitting toolbox gives me summation of 2 exp functions and I just want one exp function.

I would really appreciate your helps...
