How do I activate Simulink with R2011a Student Version?

I purchased the R2011a Student version of Matlab and Simulink. However, i do not see the icon for simulink. What am I missing?

Where are you looking for the icon? There will be no separate Simulink icon in your OS desktop. You start Simulink by starting MATLAB. From there, you can type "simulink" in the Command Window, or click on the Simulink icon in the MATLAB toolbar.
