train: matrix of 569 row and 32 column
x:matrix of 569 row of zeros &
y:matrix of 569 row of ones
now, what exactly this command did?
w=train(x,:)
w=train(y,:)
Note, this will give an error that indicate the subscript should be logical or postive
but in general
does the command w=train(x,:) calculate the size of x and then return the row of the resulted size?

You have a problem because you named your matrix train the same as the command you hope to invoke http://www.mathworks.com/help/nnet/ref/train.html .
