Given
H(z)=(0.6-z^-1)(1+2z^-1)/(3-z^1)(2-(jz^-1),
how can code and plot the magnitude response and phase?
And how do I find H(2)?

Go back to your tf call, post it and all other relevant code, and tell us what ‘j’ is. (It cannot be the imaginary operator, because ‘z’ already includes it.)

Hello Boom,
You have to firstly define your variables z and j. if z is going from 1 to 10, and j is 1 then:
z=1:10;
j=1;
H(z)=(0.6-z.^-1).*(1+2*z.^-1)./(3-z.^1).*(2-(j*z.^-1));
%
plot(H)
H(2)
When you multiply vectors or matrices, you have to use scalar (.* or ./).

H(z)=1/z-1
find magnitude
