What is the proper format for a certain problem?

I have an error in my program that occurs through several functions since they are called from each other. How do I go about posting code for all of these? There is a decent amount and I would rather not flood the screen since that would probably just creat confusion.

Are we allowed to post zip files that include the script and functions for that program?

It may be worth posting the error message and the function it occurs in and explain roughly what you're doing, to begin with.
