how to remove this error .......

I'll go ahead and throw out the obvious, ensure that 'bw2' is a 2-dimensional numeric matrix. http://www.mathworks.com/help/toolbox/images/ref/bwmorph.html

For example, you may need to use im2bw() to convert a color image to black and white.
