how to make a log-log plot with the normal plot curve as the other axes

2 views (last 30 days)
Hi all,
I strongly need your help and assistance. I have the value of x1, y1, x2, y2. I would like to plot x1,y1 as a normal curve and plot x2,y2 as a log-plot. However, those plots have to be in a single plot. It might be unclear. The attached figure will tell you what I need to do.
Thanks in advance, Pich

[AX, H1, H2] = plotyy(x1, y1, x2, y2, @plot, @loglog);
Now you can use title() and set the properties of AX(1) and AX(2) independently, such as
xlabel(AX(1), 'Distance from river mouth');
xlabel(AX(2), 'Drainage area');
If you have R2014b or later it is recommended that you instead use yyaxis
