wavwrite warnings

Hi :) I've been trying to save my sound clips to .wav formats, but I keep getting these warnings:

Warning: Data clipped during write to
file:lms.wav 
> In wavwrite>PCM_Quantize at 272
  In wavwrite>write_wavedat at 296
  In wavwrite at 138
  In ALEdited at 119

Please advise :)

Your data is not uint8 or int16 or int32, and it is outside the range [-1 to +1].
