updating newer matlab version with toolbox from old

I have 2 versions of matlab, one which is R2011a on my laptop which contains several toolboxes, and R2011b on my pc which contains only the basic package. Is it possible to transfer the statistic toolbox from one my laptop to the pc?

"No" to what you are describing -- the license manager would stop you even if you could manage to find the right files, and those files were compatible in the two different versions.

Can you use your laptop's license on your desktop too? That would give you the more feature-rich license configuration on both computers.

Ok thank you. I don't think I can do that. The license on my laptop is my own and the licence on the pc is the universities so probably wouldn't work.
