Hi, Can anyone tell me the advantages of GABOR FILTER IMAGE ENHANCEMENT? What are the other image enhancement techniques?

one great advantage are the invariant properties of the extracted features:
other possibilities can be:
haralick feature
transformations: fourier, wavelet, chebychev (and combinations)
...
depends on your requirements and image data.
