how to perform clinical trial task in Simbiology

I watched the Simbiology Webinar Population Pharmacokinetic Modeling Using Nonlinear Mixed-Effects Methods in SimBiology.
In this webinar, the instructor's simbiology has a clinical trial task tab (last one in the TASK menu), which I cannot find in any version of the simbiology. Could anyone tells me how to use simbiology to perform a clinical trial simulation after nonlinear mixed effect model fitting (with covariates)? Thanks!

Hi Rui,
This is a custom task written by the instructor to demonstrate how SimBiology allows you to write custom tasks using the MATLAB language. It is not yet a "built-in" task that comes with any version of SimBiology. However, I will talk to the instructor and see if we can make the custom task available on MATLAB Central.

Hi Arthur,
Thanks a lot for your answer. I really appreciate your help.
Clinical trial simulation is the last step for most PK models. I have one more question. To validate my model, I split the data into two parts: development data set and validation data set. The first one is used for parameter estimation. The second one is used for validation: keep the model structure, parameters, and covariate unchanged; plugin the exposure from validation set into the model, and compare the observed response in validation set to the predicted response from model. It is like a simulation task, but I cannot figure out a way to do that by using the simulation task in simbiology. Could you give me any hint on that? Thanks again!
Rui
Hi Rui,
Although this is similar to a simulation task, it is different enough that I think you would currently have to use a custom task. Perhaps you could modify the task from this webinar.
Hi Arthur,
Was the custom code ever made avilable? as I would also like to run a trial Simulation similar to that of the video Rui mentioned.
Many thanks
