IE ActiveX Control in Matlab GUI

I have an activex control for internet explorer in a gui. when I run the GUI I get an error message saying:

"Serialization of COM object failed. 'Microsoft Web Browser' could not be restored to its previous state.

Make sure file filename_activex1 is in the same directory as your GUI."

Can someone help me fix this? Also, is there any documentation on using this activeX control? Specifically, I'd like it to load a particular web page when I press a button on the GUI.

When does the error occur? Can you post the line, which causes the error in addition, please?
