Hi, I have a matrix n*m and I want to extract part of it. For example the firsts five lines and the firsts six column. How could I do? Regards!!

Msub = M(1:5,1:6);
But there are "getting started" documentation to get you up and running in no time, also at the command-line prompt type:

to get another set of introductory walk-through. These are better tools than to ask here for each and every initial step.
