Huffman to VHDl accelDSP error

Hi All,
I was trying to convert a Huffman Compression matlab code to vhdl and I have got the following error during analysis step.Is there any equivalent function to "strcat" to replace.
Pls Help me as soon as u can. Error is,

Some problems were encountered please correct. #( I-GENERAL-0001): Time elapsed: "1.91" seconds
