simulink - solver Error in parallel computing only
Show older comments
Hello,
i'm getting the following error:
Transient initialization, solving for consistent states and modes, failed to converge. ...Nonlinear solver: Linear Algebra error. Failed to solve using iteration matrix.
I'm using Simscape (thermal and electrical components). I modelled a thermal consumer, it reads a load profile as the power consumption and computes by setting the desired difference in temperature the coresponding massflow.
The error comes up only when i'm using parallel computing.
Additionally, when i scale down the load profile in parallel computing mode, it also works fine.
Could someone please explaine what this error means and how to figure out, where it occurs.
edit: i used a R2017a version and exported the model to R2016a to use on a diffrent machine. Actually, then i also got some warnings by S-PS/PS-S blocks:
In instantiating linked block '..../Simulink-PS Converter' : Simulink-PS Converter block (mask) does not have a parameter named 'FilteringAndDerivatives'
Is that related to the mentioned error?
