Hey guys,
I would like to change the title of my plots. I am getting some information using: get(gca) and I can see the "Title = [573.003]" there but I don't know how to change the plots title from its default name (figure 1) to another name.
I appreciate very much your help, Mehdi

set(gcf,'NumberTitle','off') %don't show the figure number
set(gcf,'Name','Whatever you want for the figure name') %select the name you want

To see all the functions that help you locate graphics objects, look in the doc: MATLAB -> Functions -> Graphics -> Handle Graphics -> Graphics Object Identification
You'll see gca, gcf, and gco (current object), as well as some others like findobj
To see what all the properties are for a given type of object, look in the doc: MATLAB -> User's Guide -> Handle Graphics Property Browser
This has all the possible graphics objects, and lists all the properties (with descriptions about what they do). *Very* useful.
