How can I start MATLAB?

Everytime I try to start MATLAB I get an error message (picture attached). Can anyone tell me what I should do different? Thank you so much!

That's a strange error. Did your MATLAB installation install successfully and completely? Is your Java installation up-to-date? Try installing the latest Java version, get it here: http://java.com/download.
